My girlfriend just sent me this photo...she said it was 39 degrees (F) there this morning! Still looks BEAUTIFUL!
I remember wearing a coat, scarf and gloves it was the first time we went in early December, I think Dawn was there the same time It was freezing some evenings and the mornings were really cold as well, when we went to check in our luggage at DTD, it was just below freezing
At some point you have to realise that
some people can stay in your heart
but not in your life.......
If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
Winne the Pooh - A A Milne
When Alex was around 10 we stayed at the Poly. It was rather cold as it was January. Clear skies, kind of windy and chilly. Well she was bound and determined to swin in the pool at the Poly. We warned her that it would not be a good idea, but being the headstrong girl (and now young woman) was bound and determined. I put on a fleece and anorak to break the wind up a bit. She dove into the 82 degree pool and had fun untill she got out..
Heh...suddenly ol' Mom and Pop were very smart people indeed.
She froze on the way back to our room.
Another cold one this morning. Coats and hats and gloves if the wind is blowing. Yesterday the wind actually had an element of iciness to it. Not something you usually feel at the end of March. Wind, yes. Cool, yes, but not icy.
Life is fragile. Each day really does matter. Live, live, live! Remember to love and let love, too.
