there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.

Such good news. Or mostly, good news, eh? Hoping he continues to recover fully and quickly.Originally Posted by Beccaberry, post: 306926
He looks so good, he's eating, he's talking, he's SMILING :) I'm so pleased, and more importantly the doctors are thrilled with his progress. He goes back in three days for them to check the drainage tube and change the dressing and then back in a week for a second follow-up. They will do another scan on the 30th (after allowing the dissection to heal) to determine the need for additional radiation and chemotherapy. That will likely be my next trip to Texas.

Thank you again, each one of you, for your thoughts and pixie dust - I wish I could express how much they meant to me. I love you all.
What a wonderful, wonderful update! I am so happy for your Dad!! So wonderful too, that you are able to be home with your Jon and children.
We'll keep the good wishes headed his way, Becca. Sometimes, life is just practically perfect, isn't it?
