    This year has gone so fast, it's nearly september already! anyone else think so?

    Absolutely. It's heading very quickly for September and that is the last quarter of the year.

    Barely used to the 2000s, and we're rushing headlong toward 2009!

    It's sped by! DH has a very good theory about how time speeds up as you get older. Certainly true in my case!

    I definately agree with this theory.
    Ever since I retired a couple of years ago time sure does whizz by...it makes me wonder how on Earth I found the time to go to work!

    Very valid obserations. One of the determinations of aing is that we start to look backward at what has passed intead of forward to the future. We recognize that a year is but a fleeting moment, where a day used to be forever.

    Tell a child to sit for ten minutes and you've given her a lengthy sentence. Tell an adult to sit for ten minutes and they'll try for an hour easy.

    Makes real truth in the statement that every day is a gift, eh?

    It certainly is. Only seems like yesterday that we were planning and waiting for our 2007 holiday to Disney, now it nearly a year since we went :(
