The Disney Wonder, along with a Carnival ship, reportedly rescued migrant rafters off the Florida Keys in two separate incidents on Friday afternoon.

U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer Mark Barney said that the two ships both spotted "rustic vessels" about 40-45 miles from Key West. The Wonder picked up eight people of unknown nationality and the company is currently working with the Coast Guard to determine its next steps, said a statement from Disney.

The crew aboard the Wonder provided their new passengers with food, water and medical attention. No injuries or deaths were reported. The Coast Guard is currently conducting interviews with the rescued rafters.
