We are not big wine drinkers, which is what makes me think it's not something we'd like.
Totally understand, but to be sure, there really IS so much more than wine! Do you drink at all? If so, there are loads of beers and "slushy" type drinks to sample as well. The food (both savory AND sweet) is worth a walk around "world" in and of itself, IMHO. Plus, there's the "Eat to the Beat" series (a few fun "yesteryear" bands/groups that are always a bit of cheese). Do read more about it and ask questions if you intend on visiting - it can be a lot of fun!

What else do you have planned for your visit?

My boyfriend enjoys beer and we both drink liquor, so we would probably enjoy it. I will do some more research and I am sure I'll have questions

We plan on arriving early Monday, going to either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon(the boyfriend cannot make up his mind) and then Downtown Disney that evening.

Tuesday-Thursday will be Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios(We will see which parks have extra magic hours on those days) and then Friday will be Animal Kingdom and a late evening flight home.

I should hopefully have the dates on Friday. I normally receive notification on around the 18th of the month, so you won't have to wait too long

My DH and I don't drink but we still enjoy the Food and Wine Festival for the food

Hi Wendy! No worries about the dates/times for the parks, I have been using the "My Disney Experience" Webpage & App and it says they will be up in 8 days. I guess they make you wait until exactly 180 days from your planned vacation to be able to make reservations and whatnot. I already have ideas, just need to know the times to be able to really get into planning.

Hello! It's great that you chose to join us here at Disney Secrets. As you can see, we love talking Disney and helping out with vacation plans.

October is a beautiful time to visit. The weather is generally gorgeous! Sunny and low humidity with very little rain, makes for lovely park days.

MK is a full day into evening park. Same for EPCOT. Especially with the food and wine festival, you'll need a full day. Avoid the weekend for the food and wine festival as that is when all the locals go and it is crazy busy! AK is a lovely park. It's my favorite after EPCOT. Take in all the theming. It's so much more than a place with animals. Go slow, but be there at opening. It's the park that closes the earliest and there are no fireworks, so you'll have a full day of it with time to do something else in the evening.

DHS is my least favorite park, but many enjoy themselves there. You'll most likely need a full day, especially if you intend to take in Fantasmic.

If you have a restaurant that you absolutely must dine in, then be sure to make an ADR so you won't be disappointed. The restaurants fill up fast and you can easily not be able to get a seating without an ADR.

Don't forget that there are loads of lovely restaurants in the WDW resorts as well as the parks.

Welcome to our new home! It's a lovely and friendly place. If you haven't joined yet, do register. It's a great place to make friends and share all those Disney secrets!!
