I do take a book with me and it's normally something cheesy, some sort of chick lit. There's nothing better than sitting bu the pool reading a good romance :)

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.

I like something more gritty, usually something with serial killers in it!

Depends on my mood, and what I am doing. I may bring along a "brain candy" book as I call them, or may bring along something serious that I'm reading for the purpose of learning something new.

    Or, I may bring both!

Like Johnie I'm always reading so I just take whatever I'm in the middle of. I usually have a ya style vampire fiction as well as some non fiction computer/legal books. I use the kindle app on my iPad which has massively reduced the weight of books I carry on hols

I don't love the kindles although the latest is good but I do love the ipad mini as it does so much and the kindle app on that is near perfect for me.
