When do you book your holidays? Last minute or a year in advance

I'm a bit of a planner, I like to book as soon as I am able, so just under a year out usually. If it were up to me then I'd book everything for the next 10 years! Others don't feel like that though :)

I normally book ours when the flying club seats become available which is probably about 10 months before. We normally go around the same time of the year so we just fit everything in around the flights.

Well, I just called last week for Gay Day/Star Wars weekend and was able to book a DVC villa. I tend to wait to the last minute too often. I've been lucky.

If I were going to book a vacation that included airfare, then I'd definitely start close to a year before. Waiting is too nerve wracking and not cost effective. I like to try and find a nice hotel wherever it is that we are going and that takes time and research.

We generally try to book far enough in advance to enable us to be at least 180 out.
