I would love to go, but sadly it's not possible

    Do you plan on going?

Well we made it till 2 am. As expected it was manic, thank god for fast passes. It was nice to say we had been part of it, but I'm not a fan of being at the parks when they are so busy that you can barely move. Trying to keep the children close was a real battle. I'm not complaining about it being busy mind, it was exactly as I expected and it was a good way to finish our Disney part of this trip.

The character lines were very long with a lot of tired, grizzling children but we got all our character meets done days ago so we didn't have to endure the wait. The best bit was being on Big Thunder Mountain as the fireworks were going off over our heads.

As we were leaving I was amazed at the amount of families with young children who were arriving on the trams. Meg did say that there was no way that she would get up in the middle of the night for a trip to the park, she loves her bed too much. I expected more adults on their own to be pitching up in the early hours. Maybe they had all been for a nap in the car, there was a few on our tram who were going off to do that.

Overall it was an experience but I doubt we would do it again should it happen again whilst we were out there. If I didn't have the kids or if they were older teenagers I would certainly do it, but when they are so young it was just a bit much.

I think 2am with the children is really good

I'm glad you were able to experience it did you get some of the badges they were handing out

I'd have LOVED to have been there we never do the parks in the daytime, so this would be perfect for us. We'd have turned up for the fireworks and stayed through leaving before it got light.

Were there restaurants and quick service open or was it the usual silly "everything closing by 9/930" thing
