    Calton Hill. This is one of my favourite places:

    Edinburgh Castle. This is a must-see. Try to be there at 1pm:

    You must climb Arthur’s Seat. The view is breathtaking!:

    Holyrood palace, if you enjoy stately homes:

    The Royal Botanic Gardens, if you like plants etc:

    Princes Street Gardens. Beautiful place to people-watch:

    See the Pandas:

    This is a good company for the ghost/history tours. Be sure to visit Mary King’s Close.

    The Royal Mile:

    If you enjoy a wee dram:

    Museums (I love the Museum of Childhood):

    If you like boats/Royalty/history:

    Independent shops and eateries:

    Plus, don’t forget!!:

    And sightseeing tours if you have time left (or before you start)……..

    For a bit of fun, if you haven't been to one before:

    Phew! <!--[if !mso]><object classid="clsid:38481807-CA0E-42D2-BF39-B33AF135CC4D" id=ieooui></object> <style> st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } </style> <![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 10]> <style> /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} </style> <![endif]--> Well, that has just scratched the surface. I guarantee that you will want to return, so we'll continue the list then.
