Earlier today the Main Street Bakery at the Magic Kingdom officially re-opened and on the menu you’ll now find Starbucks drinks and food along with delicious Disney house-made treats.

Main Street Bakery will serve up Disney cookies, brownies and cupcakes, whilst Starbucks offerings include coffee and espresso beverages and Frappuccino blended beverages, as well as breakfast sandwiches and pastries.

    I'm not a fan!

Walt designed Magic Kingdom and Disney World so that outside companies couldn't get their mits on the action and so they cannot ruin the magic.

Now they seem to invite them in.

This is exactly the reason I don't agree with the Duck and Tuna, sorry Swan and dolphin!

I'm not convinced but will still pay a visit when we go in September. I dislike Starbucks coffee with a passion. Sure, it is better than that leperous distilment that is Nescafe and their cold drinks are good but I still don't get why they let them through the door. As long as some of the old favourites are there, I might be able to forgive them.

Walt actively encouraged sponsors so that he could build his dreams.

    Only to fund projects.

The reason he looked for so much land and settled on florida for Disney world was because he didn't want the magic ruined by outside companies.

You're not alone, Jeff. I love Starbucks, so I'm excited about this as well.
