Here's another vote for Cape May, it's a great place to eat. Not so hectic as other character breakfast venues but then again I love Crystal Palace, especially if you can get one of the first bookings 'cos then you can have a great breakfast and still get into the park before it officially opens

Pepper Market at Coronado Spring Resort does good breakfast.

Tusker House at Animal Kingdom isn't that bad either.

    My Favourites are:

Cape May - best character breakfast and food. Very relaxed and civilised

    Grand Floridian Cafe.

    Olivia's at OKW.

Chef Mickey's - there is a condition to this. We always book this for our first morning when we are jetlagged and up early, and so get the very first booking, 7am I think. It takes a while for it to get too busy, and the food is fresh and tasty at that time. It's a great start to our holiday.

The other place we tried last time and went a second time as it was surprisingly good. The buffet was excellent

I love my breakfasts when we're in Florida!!! Can you tell?

We always have breakfasts at opening time, I think that is why we have never had a problem with food quality or character interaction at the character buffets.

I'm not a huge breakfast fan but I do like a Cracker Barrel one later in the day. Never been to one in Orlando though so don't know what they're like locally

Ooops! Just realise that some of my text went missing when I posted. Was important text too as it was the name of the restaurant

The other place we tried last time was The Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club. We went for a second time too as it was surprisingly good. The buffet was excellent, as was the a la carte. It may be a great place for you to go Robert. Not a character breakfast, some nice relaxed tables and this had some slightly different food to the normal fayre. And of course you can stroll into EPCOT afterward.

Usually just eat at the food courts at the resort we are staying like Sassogula in PORFQ, the place in CBR, Kona, or at one of the boardwalk walk ups. We did do character breakfasts at Chef Mickey's, Ohana, and Cape May....all were outstanding.

On site- Cape May has a great and very laid back character meal.

Kona is very good. The macadamia nit pancakes are fantastic!!

Off site- Cracker Barrel or Ihop.
