I'm glad you like it :D It is actually a term for certain types of books over here Slushy romances where the girl always gets her guy

I'm reading ice-crean girls. It was made into a drama in the UK but I missed it. The book is brilliant. Having trouble putting it down!

I love Dorothy Koomson's books, I've read them all except her latest.

The drama on TV wasn't as good as the book, it did stick to the story but I preferred the book.

Ummm, lets see, in the last weeks...

I read Tell the Wolves Im home by Carol Rifka Brunt and loved it!
Then I read The girl you left behind by Jojo Moues and enjoyed it, but thought the writing was off in some parts of the story
Currently Im reading A Prayer for Owen Meany,by John Irving, its ok, but not something that makes me not want to put the book down.

Im also trying to get into Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami sp?? But honestly, either the book is slow and bad or I just dont get all the hype with this author, either way, it sort of feels like a chore to read it, and thats mever good :(

I went when I was 21, made it to the entrance gate, collapsed and just cried my heart out while everyone else went in and took the "tour"

I had never felt so much despair floating in the air, just didnt want to see anymore.

The only time Ive felt something similar was at Omaha beach and museum and cementery that are close by, how can one human being be so cruel to another one!? Its beyond me

I read a Prayer for Owen Meanie years ago. Irving's books are pretty good.

Mari, I felt that way about The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Could NOT get into it. Gave up. Went to see the movie and loved it. Then I was able to get into all 3 books.
