If it were me I would have the physio do it 2 weeks before the holiday. That way in case there were some kind of issue you would have time to work it out, the medication would have time to take effect, but you wouldn't miss your window of really feeling great!! I would hate to have the really good part come while you are still home waiting to go!

I think I have to agree here. Get your physio to do it. If she has been treating you for 20 years I would certainly place my trust in her.

Chris is going to phone the consultant's secretary tomorrow and explain the situation and ask if the consultant is happy for my physio to do it. If he is really not happy then I will have the injections at the end of July, so he says that Fay can do it.

Thank you all for listening to me rambling on, you all know I'm a scatter brain and hate making decisions What would I do without you all

Just to update you all as you have been so kind listening to me ramble on about my knees I have an apppointment to see the consultant on the 31st July for the injections. I feel much happier now that it's not happening the day before our holiday. I just have to keep everything crossed that they work for me and last until at least we come back from holiday, longer would be good, but I am happy if it's just until the end of September

What would I do without you guys

I'm glad to hear that you have settled on a date for the injections. We'll keep our fingers crossed for a pain-free holiday.
