Ok so my other half and myself are what you call "theme park geeks" (well more so me..he just puts up with it!). Two years ago he surprised me with a trip to Disneyland Paris!

So last year his family decide to take us all to Florida.....all expenses paid! So that is His mom, dad, brother, brother's girlfriend, brother's 3year old (our nephew) and me and the other half!

It feels like a 100 years ago when he first booked it, but now it is just flying by! Some friends of ours are also theme park geeks and they have been five times (every year they say they are going to have a break....but never do!) they have kindly drew us up an itinerary to follow as below.

17th August -travel up to Manchester and fly!

6pm ish - arrive in Orlando, grab our hired minivan and get to the villa! Then go shopping for supplies!

    18th August - animal kingdom

    19th - universal/I.O.A

    20th- Blizzard Beach/Epcot

    21st -magic kingdom

    22nd - Aquatica/Seaworld

    23rd -wet n wild/universal/IOA

    24th - Busch gardens

    25th -Hollywood studios

26th - typhoon Lagoon and free afternoon

    27th -magic kingdom

    28th - universal/IOA

    29th - free (beach/shopping)

    30th -Epcot/magic kingdom

31st -gator land then fly home!

We have plans to go to red lobster and Bubba Gump (loveeeee it!). And his brother is proposing to his go over there! (She doesn't know...he's booked into a Disney restaurant ;-) )

Me and the other half will definitely be returning before we have even gone! But this is very much a family holiday and a holiday of a lifetime!

Will keep you all posted! Can't wait it use the photopass+!

Thank you for sharing with us

It sounds like you have a fun packed time ahead of you, you will love every minute, just make sure you make use of the Fastpasses, it will save you lining up for ages to get on a ride.

Universal have a pass, sorry I can't remember what it is called, but most people I know that have bought them - yes they are free at Disney, but you have to pay for them at Universal - say that they aren't worth their money.

Oh how romantic, a proposal which restaurant is he going to and has he told them that it is a special occasion because he is going to propose. It's always worth letting them know if it is something special.

You will have some brilliant photos from the photopass +

We've got 30 days to go, we leave on the 30th August and I am so far behind with my planning it is crazy. We don't plan very much, but I still haven't decided what night to go to MNSSHP
