great question Robert! we've had several excellent meals there.

First of all, the dress code is probably business casual. full length pants/dress shirt although I've seen folks with shorts and beach wear in there. To be honest, the place is SO dark that they have to bring a torch to read the menu, so dress of other patrons doesn't really annoy since you can't see them

The portions are HUGE and I mean HUGE. A baked potato will take up most of a large dinner plate and can be shared for sure. One of the desserts is easily 4/6 people shareable.

The steaks are good and the service is very good but I just don't know that they're SOOOOO good when you compared to say ruths chris or charleys.

Is the menu still on a football? That drove me bonkers, and I've never dined there!

yeah first time I ate there I had absolutely no idea (stupidly I admit) why the heck it was on the football. I mean the light level is so low it would be hard to read a proper menu never mind one on a football. TOOOO gimmicky really for my taste that bit, BUT the food did make up for it and the service was excellent.

It's on the football because of who Don't Shula is.

We've never eaten there simply because there is no way Donna or I could eat one of their huge steaks.

Yes, I get why the football, I know who Shula is. I just think it's silly. It was very dark when we peeked in to see what the place was like. Can't imagine the difficulties it must pose for some people...

yeah exactly it's a silly gimmick really is.

However I must admit the photos and history on the walls is interesting even for a non-football fan like myself and the food is great (once you can see to eat it!)
