Does anyone know anything about this? We have an original wii and a PS3, will it work on either of those? I seem to remember someone saying they are quite expensive but it's 50 to buy...do you have to buy more stuff to go with it?

I know it will work on a PS3, as that is what we have and we've been playing it! (Really enjoying it so far.) The original game comes with three game pieces/characters: Jack Sparrow, Sully, and Mr. Inrcredible. Basically by setting these pieces on the little electronic game board it comes with, you can play as these characters, and they open up different worlds to you based on what franchise they are from. They are coming out with more characters that you will be able to purchase (I think in October) and they will be on a piece by piece basis, I believe, though they will probably do some in sets.

Basically it's Disney's attempt at the whole Skylander's thing. It's a cunning ploy to get you(r kids) addicted to a game ecosystem that necessitates the purchase of additional physical characters & tokens to unlock new game characters/features/worlds.

The starter set gets you going ... but do you just want to be the kid with the basic set, and not all the cool extras? :D

    ... 'nuff said

I brought this yesterday, it's good fun. Plus as it's a family style game we can all play it together. My youngest son sent most the evening downstairs with us playing it instead of being in his room playing football games with his mates.
