    I guess it would depend on how much we won in the lottery. If it were enough then Golden Oaks, here we come. Otherwise we'd probably take a nice vacation in a deluxe resort.

    Once I had done some practical things, I'd probably have some sort of gathering for friends and family.

    I have a lot of friends (and a few family members) that are huge Disney fans, and some of them have never even been. I would take a large group of my fellow Disnerds to WDW; and my husband and I would probably stay an extra week or so on property, just the two of us.

    We've always talked about taking a bunch of family and friends to the parks or Disney Cruise. Also, may purchase in Golden Oaks. Although it would have to be a huge jackpot since the HOA and property tax in Golden Oaks is quite substantial.

    WDW = 39 visits since 1979
    DCL = 3 cruises since 2002

    The property alone at Golden Oaks is quite substantial. I haven't even seen HOA and Property Tax fees yet.

    What's HOA?

    I'd buy new pillows, pay off student loans, then enquire about the villa for sale down the road from the one we stayed in.

    HOA is a homeowners association. A frequently militant group that tells you what you can and can't do on your own property. I purposely picked a house without one as telling me I cannot paint my house purple is enough to make me want to do it.

    HOAs also protect the value of your property in that their are bylaws that prevent people from painting their house colors that could devalue the area. :) They also require neatness, and manicured lawns, and not parking 52 cars in your driveway, and other things like that. :) We have an HOA and are quite pleased with it.
