    Hey gang,

There is a launch of a lunar probe here at Virginia's NASA Wallop's Island Launch area tomorrow (with a good and clean countdown) You should be able to see the launch (around 11:27 PM EDT) tomorrow night on NASA TV or somewhere on the net. I am hoping to catch a glimpse of the trail from good old Ptown. I have seen the rocket trails in the past from several spots in town.

You can find information on the probe here:

Hmmm....... Well you should be able to see it too Becca in CT. This map does a better job. The further away , the later you will see it and the lower it will be above the horizon. To get an idea if you hold your fist at arm's length and mark the horizon, the top of your fist will be 10 degrees of altitude. I am pretty close so I will see it about 15 degrees high.
