I've been reading everywhere that a UK drivers license is no longer being accepted at Disney to prove age for alcohol or picking up tickets and things like that. They're apparently demanding a passport and saying that it's a recent policy change, does anyone know for sure? I really don't want to carry around my passport :(

I've been using mine with no problems. I'll see if I someone at Guest Relations knows anything.

would be good to get an official comment for sure, it's all over "certain other" forums ;-) and people are going insane about it (as usual)

I think one person has a problem and there's carnage! We have never been asked doe ID on Disney and Jon will always have a beer or some wine with dinner.

I have no idea of course, but just wanted to mention that I always carry my passport in my work bag. I treat it as another form of identification. Sometimes you need two forms for some sort of thing or other (usually governmental matters, licenses that sort of thing). I just tucked it up in my work bag at one time and there it stays.
