    Are you able to get one of the boats from hollywood studios to epcot and vice versa?

    Yes. Though you will go to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot

    Yes, with stops as West mentions above. If it's a nice day there is also a walking path on the East side of the canal.

    it looks really close on the map - do you know roughly how long it takes?

    By foot it would take around 20/30 mins from DHS to Epcot, depending on how fast you walk.
    It is quite a pleasant stroll.

    We would be doing it at the end of the holiday so not sure how much walking our feet will handle lol

    It is really. I quite liked the boat. It wasn't the quickest way of getting somewhere, but it's a nice trip.
