Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World will soon be home to four new food trucks, each inspired by a different Disney theme park. Chef James Kleinschmidt and Downtown Disney Area Manager for Food & Beverage, Matt Fisher have been working on the plans with the Food & Beverage team and hope to have the trucks debut this fall.

    The four trucks will include:

    Enchanted Fare

Favorites from Disney parks, including Croque Monsieur from Magic Kingdom, Glass Noodle Salad from Hong Kong Disneyland and Hand-dipped Corn Dogs from Disneyland Park.

    The World Showcase of Flavors

Items from the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, including Grass-Fed Beef Sliders, Pierogies with Kielbasa, and Lobster Rolls.

    Superstar Catering

Different versions of meatballs, including Lamb Meatball Flatbread with Tzatziki.

    Namaste Café

Dishes using a variety of spices and served with Naan bread, including Butter Chicken, Slow-Cooked Beef Short Ribs and Tandori Spiced Shrimp.

The first Food Truck is expected to appear in the next month.

Going to be interesting to see what these food trucks look like and where they will be located.

I mean, I know food trucks are all the rage now, but at Downtown Disney? They have quite a few choices for food there already, and it's not like food truck prices are reasonable.

Orlando recently enacted some silly law regarding food trucks so perhaps that has something to do with it? Giving the trucks a place to sell their wares?

We went to a food truck "night" a bit ago and paid a ridiculous price for a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich that was pretty awful.

These things are all the rage but I swear they remind me of something you would find at the state fair. I also am not a fan of trying to stand/walk and eat food.
