Getting one sent tomorrow and apparently I can store things on a cloud? Luckily Nats is getting one too, so she can figure it out in no time and show me what to do. I may end up throwing it.
Well Nats and Alan have had a field day taking the mickey (no pun) out of me... unwraps the Kindle Fire and I start by touching the on icon thingy on the pad.... it didn't come on and by which time Nats and Alan are in hysterics :/ Not for love nor money could I get that damn thing turned on. Nats has now shown me where to switch it on.... this could take a while....
If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
Winne the Pooh - A A Milne
A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
What don't you like about it Esme?
Well I couldn't get anything on it.. after Alan and Nats had hysterics about me trying to turn it on by pressing the *camera hole thing* on the front of it... I mistook it for the *on* button? So I tried randomly pressing various places on the screen to get it to come on. After they'd picked themselves up off the floor laughing.... I got it turned on via Nats showing me where it turns on. Well I never would have found it, I can hardly see the bliddy thing. Anyhoo... Tried to access Twitter, well that was a disaster all by itself (Natalie's now calling me the Tantrum Queen :/) I have since discovered I can download free books but I have to have my card details on it to get those, which I have been doing. I can't get at my emails properly and sometimes I just lose the will to live with it. I am slowly getting there but it's very painful for me.
Sheesh! Well, I'd use it only as an electronic book if it were me. Sounds like you have a fancy version. The boy has a nook and it only allows downloads of ebooks and reading of them.
Of course, he offered it to me when I had to travel for work a few months back. I took it (would have been rude not to) but couldn't figure it out! The nine year old has no problems.
I KNOW!!!!!! I'll send the 9 year old to you. He can be your Kindle boy.
