Has anyone ever taken a camcorder? I'm used to using a stills camera and that's fine but camcorder is kinda new to me, I dont tend to take one.

I'm wondering do people use it to film the rides? but then it must be easy to miss the whole ride :/

I'm sure Wendy will be telling me what photos/videos are needed for the site in due course... in other words, "my orders" :D

I used one so much on one trip that DH banned it from the next holiday.
The best way, with rides, is to go on it without camera first then film it another time. :)

yeah that makes sense What worked best? did you plan specific shots or just walk around with it on filming everything?

I tend to be a bit obsessive with photography and filming. :D
Nowadays I restrict it to photos for still shots and filming of parades, rides etc.

Jack films everything from our trips and makes holiday movies for each day.
This year he filmed on a camcorder and gopro.

He posts them on our holiday Facebook page and has his own channel on youtube.

Cool! Hubby did all the filming but he also missed *seeing* the parades..... so the next time he went there was no camcorder. If it was someone's first time they do miss an awful lot by viewing it through a lens. And we still haven't watched the films... why? I have no idea.
