really really hard ;) i just blanch the sprouts in boiling water for around 5 mins then fry off some pancetta so it releases some of it's juices then add the sprouts and peeled and chopped chestnuts (i buy already peeled) and stir fry until the sprouts are brown. I usually blanch the sprouts ahead of time so there's less to do Christmas morning :)

I made sprouts w/ pancetta this year as well! Didn't add chestnuts as I didn't think about it, but I might try that for Christmas now that you've mentioned it! We pop ours under the broiler for a few to crisp up and OMG, delish!

My new favorite recipe this year was a spicy Italian sausage cornbread dressing - it was such a big hit, I caught my brother-in-law sneaking into the kitchen during football to sneak bites after lunch! He even had a fork in his pocket!!! LOL! His wife made...wait for it...maple bacon muffins for our tree hunting outing the next day, and they were FANTASTIC!! I've already begged the recipe from her to make them next week for our work brunch :)
