I've not watched it. It won a ton of awards, but I could just never wrap my mind around the idea of it. It's supposed to be incredibly artistic...

So then, you weren't blown away I suspect?

I couldn't get into the book at all, so I can only imagine what the movie was like

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
    Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.

I prefer the book. I got into it as I had to watch it at uni at the theatre. ....that was amazing! I do like the fact that you don't really know if it happened or not!

I watched it with my 8 year old nephew. I was worried he wouldn't engage with it but he was riveted - I've never seen him so glued to the screen at a cinema.

He insisted that I call him Richard Parker for ages after that!

I watched the movie and had to watch it again. I was definitely disappointed. It had received so many awards that I was expecting a great movie and it wasn't great. The ending really is what did it for me.
