Seems like it's a bit bigger in the UK this year! on both C4 and Sky/fox (no idea which one will be better to watch!)

Are you having a superbowl party?

Who do you want to win?

It's the only sporting event I can watch and remain truly impartial.

I am watching the build up on Channel 4 but not sure how long I'll last. Last year I got to half time.

Vernon Kay is co presenting and I'm still confused what he has to do with sport let alone the Super Bowl.

One thing I will say is that I know it's an American sport but why do the British presenters try and be American? I just wish they'd stick to being British rather than trying to put on an accent or use words like de-fence instead of defence. Justs winds me up! Lol

They've just said that there are no ad breaks from the start of the third quarter on channel 4, I suppose that's a bonus :)

Just been told Vernon Kay plays American football for a London based team! Even so hes not the best co commentator to grace a microphone that's for sure!

yeah I'm watching the same and I think the answer is, he has NOTHING to do with it and he knows it

    yeah funny isn't it

I think ch4 are floundering tbh... they've got loads of prerecorded clips they keep going to when the studio runs out of things to say which is every other minute at the moment

I thought they were going to go for a bit of a quirky show to try and compete with sky/fox but hmmm

They've just said that there are no ad breaks from the start of the third quarter on channel 4, I suppose that's a bonus :)
yeah! I guess we're not going to see the proper US adverts but apparently they're all here:-

Can't believe sodastream is a) still going b) has enough money to buy a superbowl advert! I have like ten of them in the kitchen cupboards

Don't get me started on soda streams! Jess has been nagging me to get one for 12 months. :)

We had one when I was young about 20 years ago and that was the second time they were popular! Lol

It seems Vernon has ran off!

I must say I do love how the Americans advertise their country with the build up, they are so proud.

The closest thing we have was the royal wedding.

Could you imagine the FA cup final being the size of the super bowl?
