OK so the animals may not be quite as glamorous as the dolphins in DC but they are all locals

The weather was spectacular today ! - After what seemed like an eternity of leaden skies, low temperatures and rain rain rain rain rain, this bright yellow thing appeared in the sky. Obviously the first thought was to worship it as some kind of overlord, then the memories came drifting back and we figured out it must be the sun.

Spring looked like it might be springing , or at least having a few trial runs at it.

We rang the Sussex Sheep centre to find out if they were open and if lambing had started yet and were told they had 'just' opened and there were a load of lambs born yesterday and many labouring today .

We have been with the elder boys several times before, its always crowded but a great day out and if you are lucky you get to watch some lambs being born.

This time we went there were 4 other people there when we got there , so feeding and playing with the sheep and lambs was all our own - I had a day off today so we just took Ben

Now obviously with an operation in 2 weeks time we are desperate for him not to catch any bugs, however he is doing his best to avoid the surgery ( discovery cove moment )

Then to the zoo to wave to Thomas the tank engine and feed the birds

and these remain my favourites there, love them to bits especially when they are playing with a special stone

So park hopping, snogging an animal, glorious sunshine in beautiful countryside for a total cost of 12

So a bit cheaper than DC as well

I really, honestly, can not believe we don't use the word 'snog' here in the states. Such a great word.

Looks like he's a fan, then!

(Actually, the lot of us paid him to do that because we want more photos!)
