I didn't even know it was on. I was at Target. Then I had to hunt for it on PBS. Now I am watching it.
I love Jimmy Carter. He's a good man. He was president at the wrong time.
I don't do SOAP OPERAS either. :shocked025:Originally Posted by Beccaberry, post: 38934

I couldn't watch it. :( I was wicked busy and missed the whole thing. Teddy looks good? That's good. I hope he survives this miserable disease.
See Keith? That's a bit of the Kennedy mystique and charisma.
Jimmy Carter is one hell of a man. He did more for world peace than any other president in our time. Bringing Begin and Sadat together was a monumental success.
I really like the way he's started to speak out on issues now too. Southern Gentleman to the end, but one with complete convictions. I loved his Mother, Miss Ruth! :D She joined the Peace Corps at 80 or something like that!
I once heard a small radio documentary on Jimmy Carter. It described his standing on Coke bottles for hours when he was a young boy. He had flat feet and knew that would keep him out of the military so he stood on Coke bottles to force arches in his feet. Worked too. Incredible man.
