There's a huge Microsoft conference in Washington in July that I'm thinking of attending.

I've been to Washington once before a heck of a long time ago though. Wondering what I should schedule in down time (assuming I get some!)

Arlington cemetery is an interesting place to visit. The Segway tours look great.

The Smithsonian, Arlington cemetery is amazing, just walking around is great. The obvious like capital hill, the white house, washington and lincoln memorial. Vietnam memorial, cruise the potomac to mount vernon (George Washington's home) etc etc etc Love Washington, take comfy shoes though, there is a LOT of walking

I loved Washington when I went in 2011. It was like spending three days walking through a selection of souvenir postcards.

I loved the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum, especially the Udvar Hazy Centre near the airport.

There is tons to do in DC and the surrounding areas! The Smithsonian alone is 13 museums. You can go to the Pentagon memorial anytime if day as it is outside.

I'm less than 100 miles to the south. However I may be safely away in Phoenix and Anaheim when you go lol
