Took some new tort pics with my camera today, outside ones are the big ones enjoying the warm rain- and one at how over grown their enclosure has become since we went on holiday!

The rest are the little-uns indoors!

Of course the babies are too sweet!

Will the torts eat the greenery growing in their enclosure Josh, or will you have to cut it down?

    Thanks for sharing the photos!

They will eat some, whilst others are just for shade.

The chomp at the grass, and there are all sortss of weeds they eat. The two rosemary plants won't get eaten, they don't like the smell, nor will the lavendar, but I just let them grow and grow and obviously trim if they get too big, but I will let them get a fair bit bigger than they are.

There is a hebe which doesnt do much growing that they hide under, and also a lavatera which flowers nearly everyday and they eat the flowers and leaves that drop off

Aww love the pics Josh, thanks

When we went to Turkey years ago, they had loads of tortoises in the hotel gardens. We would often observe their behaviour. There were loads of babies too, obviously a thriving environment!

You don't see them very often now in the UK. Not many people have them as pets.

I put it in a little plastic bin and then dig it into the soil around our rhubarb plants, they have a very high fibre diet so it helps it grow LOADDSS, they are HUGE plants!

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
    Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
