... has anyone with a dog found one?

We have a tiny pedal bin in our tiny kitchen and the puppy can manage to put his feet on the pedal, lift the lid and hot foot it around the garden with it's contents. :rolleyes008:

Oooh ooooh ooooh ooooh I know this one, I know this one.

    Yes you can. :D

My parents have a bin with a lockable lid because their dogs flip the lid up with their noses. Hang on and I'll phone them and ask where they got it from.

This is the one my parents have - it's bigger than a tiny pedal bin though.

Orrr you can train him to not do it.

Put some tin-cans ontop of the bin and then when he opens the bin, they'll crash to the floor and scare him. After a while he'll associate scavanging with

We always just trained our dogs to stay out of the trash--including the puppies! Took a while, but they learned in time. They were part of the family and had unrestricted access to the house, so training was critical! :)

Please be careful using this method, you could end up with a fear-reactive dog.

This forum Here is fantastic for training tips etc
