When out shopping with my Mom today, we made a short trip into Kohls looking for a few things for the kidlets. In the Junior section, I see hanging on a rack.....a pair of...skinny jeans...(hold on, it gets better)...with STIRRUPS!!! Like, Oh My God!!! Gag me with a spoon!!!

Oh gosh. I just today gave away a bunch of clothing and other things (blankets, etc.) that I am not using and didn't need. In the mix was the last pair of trousers I had from the 80's! Remember paper bag waist? Yep, those went in the bags!

Oh yes! I had a pair in every color! The fatter the ankles the better. I had a neighbor tell me that they did that in the 50's! They wore two pair of ankle socks to make their ankles look fatter!

And please, let's not forget leg warmers. I had zillions of those (and will admit they were funtional in winter too). :D They've been seen sneaking back into the so called fashion scene recently too.

I remember pegged pants. Did that too.

Now can I tell you I saw several young ladies last winter wearing SHORTS and legwarmers....what sense does that make?

Baleigh has a pair of the skinny jeans...no stirrups though :) I have to draw the line SOMEWHERE! :D
