I've been a few times in September and I really enjoyed it, but DH is rather put off by the possibility of too much rain.
Does anyone here visit regularly in September? What are your thoughts?
    Thanks.

Main advantage - its much closer than the other time you are planning

That alone would be enough for me

It surely is for me too!!
But it's DH's cash I need so I am tempting him with talk of bargains.

We enjoyed it... we caught MNSSHP which was great, free dining sometimes and I don't remember the rain being too bad

    I say go for it

Thanks. Ooh, I hadn't thought about MNSSHP. Are they roughly the same dates each year?
Runs off to look as that would seal the deal....:smiley4:

This year [like many others] we are going in September.
I can`t honestly recall experiencing too much in the way of rain in all the times we`ve been and it certainly wouldn`t put me off going at this time of the year.

We've been twice in September and never seen a single drop of rain. The love bugs can be pretty bad though.

But at least they die with a huge smile on their faces when you swat `em!

The words 'love' and 'bug' should never be together as far as I'm concerned.
