Well, I am seriously looking into getting my first tattoo. I have wanted one for a long time, but I've now found a couple designs that I truly love. I would like to get it on my back, possibly middle (but upper) or my shoulder. Anyone have experiences that they would like to share with me. Good or bad.

    WOOHOO!!! Something I know about!!

    Lower back is horrible pain

Upper back isnt too bad..your jaw vibrates when they go over your spine

What are you wanting to get?

And what the enemy will see? They will see the flash of our cannons, and they will hear the ringing of our swords, and they will know what we can do! By the sweat of our brow and the strength of our backs and the courage in our hearts! Gentlemen, hoist the colors!

I found some art by a guy named Joseph Vargo that I'm just in love with it. When I saw it, I knew it was just it. It's a little dark, but sensual. :D

Just keep in mind that you made need to cover your glorious artwork for business. I work in a very conservative industry (accounting), so that's always a consideration in the field. We have colleagues who have to wear long-sleeved shirts in the summer--not at all pleasant in Phoenix! It's usually possible to expose a small tatoo on the ankle or arm, but large ones just aren't acceptable in most professional environments. No matter how gorgeous they are!

The mental health field is also very conserative. And I had really not thought of any other place than my back.
