    I used to love the lemon drops my Grandfather used to give me as a child. They no longer exist. There are still lemon drops, but nothing like the fiercely sour ones he had. Loved them!

    How about Acid Drops - I loved them, but I always ended up with mouth ulcers!

    20 Mojo's and Blackjacks for a penny....ok old money...... taking my 3penny bit down the shops and getting one heck of a bag of mixed sweets lasted most of the week...

    answers to earlier posts

    fruit salad and black jacks are still on sale mainly in little corner shops

    caramac is on sale in tesco

    vica versa was made by rowntrees but was not around for too long

    toffee crunch was made by trebor used to come in plastic jars and was usually next to sweet pnuts any one rember them ?

    frys 5 fruit centre i remember those but i did not like them they were discontinued because of the high cost of production not through lack of sales

    i too thought of acid drops when some one was talking of sour lemon drops

    im suprised isafari rememberd mint cracknel i used to love them but do not know anyone else who remembers them itwas like green fibre glass covered in chocolate

    one bar i also loved was made by mars and called summit
    it was a bit like a white mars bar with cherry pieces covered in milk chocolate

    I used to love mint cracknel too... they stopped selling it because it was apparently dangerous... very sharp.. wusses. Caramac is sold in ASDA's now. And have used aquarterof... to get Spanish gold... yum and bazooka joes. Off for another looky Xfankoo Steve X

    I just wish they sold Flake bars here in my town....

    Probably a good thing...my rear end is large enough!

    I've never had an acid drop. Doesn't sound too safe if they cause ulcers!
