    This is when I really miss the Sears catalog! The Wish Book would be delivered the first week of so of October, and our mothers would allow us to make a list. Mine was limited to 10 items under a specified amount (extended family gifts) and up to three more of a higher value. Never knew what--if anything--I actually would receive!

    As adults, this was our way to select gifts for the younger generation. I used to call Leu and tell her to have her DS and DD make a list for me, then I would figure out what I could afford and work with her for a good assortment (clothing, toys, etc.). It worked well until they were in high school! :D
