Not if you own a dog. :rolleyes008:

My lunchtime yesterday at school was interesting. Year 2 - all ate their lunch nice and quietly except 2 girls at the front who practically came to blows over the placing of a bag of Hula Hoops. And when they got outside one girl spat in the other girl's face. Where do 7 year old girls learn to spit? I had to report that one to the class teacher.

Steven's class came out while I was on playground duty and they practically mobbed me. Steven missed lunch play yesterday for his piano lesson but I've checked and that only happens once a month and he said he doesn't mind and he wants to learn piano properly. His teacher makes sure he gets time to eat his lunch properly too. :)

He also wants to try karate again after half term.

It was a glorious day here in sunny Brisbane!

Just waiting for DH to get home - he had to work late so hopefully only about another 1/2 or so.

And it's the first weekend in what seems like ages that I am not on call for work! Yay!

Catching up with my Mum and Dad tomorrow for the first time since we got back from Japan/Florida - just spent some time tidying up the photos and videos - they might almost be in a fit state to start my trip report.
Next trip - Bali! (March 2015)

should be clear tonight - so a day of planing and charging batteries for me today - followed my disappointment when the clouds fail to clear.

been to physio about my knee this morning - then off for 1/2 term - yay

I've just been into school on an inset day. Anyone who thinks these days are just a staff get together for a bit of team bonding is soooooooooo mistaken. I couldn't believe all the work going on in there. Got out quick in case I got roped in.

Been to Asda to get Steven a winter coat - 6! :D

Somehow came out with 30 worth of other stuff that we couldn't live without though.

It's lovely and sunny here today, but it's supposed to cloud over later today.

I thought there were a lot of children not at school I guess half term has started early here as well

    We were supposed to be going to see The Hoosiers tonight but I've torn something in my knee so I can't bend it properly :( So that's 35 wasted :sigh;

The good news though is that Chris has the day off tomorrow :207:

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
