wow thank you all so much I'm trying to get a bit more confident with my photos so I'm really happy you like them, thank you!

FD, I'm chuffed that you've saved a couple of them, and Lisa apparently that big house is privately owned from what I could gather so you can't look round it....can you *imagine* owning that place?!

Oh wow!! Very nice pictures!! I'm sad that all of our beautiful fall colors are already gone. Ready for winter here, I guess. 2 weeks or so ago we drove through the catskills and OMG I could have stopped every 10 seconds to get pictures of the trees:p015:

Your robin photo is better than mine.

Looks like a lovely place. It's seriously tempting to take the boy there today, unfortunately the National Trust is not dog friendly so we'll save it for another day.

Dawn is it worth checking, it might just be some places that don't like dogs They are welcome at Saltram house and park just down the road from us and that's National Trust

I've checked Sheffield Park and dogs are allowed on leads in the car park only. Wouldn't make for much of a walk really.

that's just silly, if they are on a lead what difference does it make where they go :rolleyes008:
