yep, I love books too so I know exactly what you're saying

Thing is, imagine a really thin pad, paper white, lovely text on it, great to read. Very light.... download any of the millions of books to it and read immediately. Transmit them to other people, recommend them and send a link whaetver.

Newspapers that download the latest stories constantly etc.

Some time soon we're going to wonder how we did without one

I can see the appeal. It seems like it would be wonderful way to get info so quickly! I am so old fashioned sometimes :p015:

YES! I love those. I finished up Aurora Teagarden's series. Haven't gotten the latest one. And I JUST finished Harper Connelly's 2nd book.
I love reading them cos they ALWAYS never turn out the way I thought.

I've just finished Things I Want my Daughter's to Know by Elizabeth Noble. It was given to me as a present and it is soooooo sad, I was in tears from page one.

Also read Thanks for the Memories by Cecilia Ahern and Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton really enjoyed both of them.

I seem to have changed what I read just lately, it used to be adventure, mystery and things which made me think. Just lately, I've gone for "lose myself" type of books that have a happy ending :D

I'm reading Witch Child, a book that was recently passed on to me - it's very easy reading which is all my brain can cope with right now what with all the decorating and boiler/central heating work going on round here!

i attempted to listen to the first book, but unfortunately I just couldn't get into it. However, I think that was more based on trying to listen to it than reading it. I've heard nothing but good things about them. :D

Someone else told me they had a hard time getting into it. I didn't have that problem at all. It is a bit hard to read the Scottish accent if you know what I mean.

i finished Witch Child the other day - I'm hooked.

There will be a sequel when they can gather more information, they are researching the next stage in the life of the girl and are asking for anyone who has any informastion to contact them. It could be some years before I get to read more about her then.....if ever:(
