    Does anyone have a tried & tested recipe for eggnog? Preferably a cooked one.

    Ooh, thank you! That sounds very similar to how I made it before.
    They left out the bit about adding rum or brandy.

    this one has bourbon - i may try it this year. would it be a bit like runny alcoholic custard?

    For those here in the states just replace M&S with the words "local grocery store" and then follow the rest of Dawn's directions

    I don't think I have ever actually tasted eggnog. The name turns me off.
