    I've ordered the free-range boneless basted turkey joint, the beef sirloin joint, the garnish selection pack, the connoisseur vegetable selection pack, the mixed meat platter and the party selection. All to be collected from my local M&S between 12 and 1pm on the 24th Dec! The rest of my food will come from Ocado.

    yep! i could show you a pic of my syringe if you like the outside as you say is as dry as possible (and inside the cavity) but the marinade is inside the meet so doesn't seem to affect the frying.

    Ah. Well, that makes sense then. I've seen the syringes that are used for injection. Kinda' scary!

    The marinade doesn't leak out or get forced out by the oil, eh? Guess not, or you'd not be doing it!

    So, you fry yours. Outdoors? Surely.

    I'm from the south and I have never had a deep fried turkey. I do hear that it is good though. I don't need to find more fattening foods to eat ;)
