    Traditionally, Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks for the harvest. It probably was held in September or October when it originated. It was moved to November when the date was standardized across the US.

    Dawn, our US History major, probably knows more about it than I do. :D

    No football in our house. We always wake up and watch the parade and this is the first year that Katelyn actually wanted to watch it. Then we eat and eat and usually watch a movie or something. The last few years we have taken to looking at old family slides, that is pretty fun

    And you would have had to travel all of about 40 minutes to my house and we could have had a blast :D

    it's up in the mountains. If you come in the fall we can see the beautiful leaves. We could also visit Walton's Mountain. They have a museum too.
