    with regards to my childhood memories, i can only remember one when i got a scalextrix set...christmas in our house was worth forgetting lol

    One year my brother woke my parents every 30 minutes asking if it was time to get up yet.

    Christmas Day was a fatigue induced haze that year.

    oh what wonderful memories you all have

    Johnie you reminded me that us 4 children used to put on a play for Mum and Dad, even down to the 'stage' scenery (a blue circle of crepe paper for a pond and such like!)

    Then there was the time my brother and sister and I stood at the bottom of the stairs and shouted 'FIRE' to get my parents up. NOT A GOOD IDEA! My legs are still shaking after that one!
