    thank you Mags - they were delicious while still warm yesterday, i had another today and it was still so light and fresh but boy, were those cranberries sharp!

    Ribs and cookies. There is something a bit magic about that combination.

    We have a huge grill, and August is definitely warm enough to swim!

    Well he'll have a grand time then. It's a small pool, but deep enough for a bit of a swim.

    Mairead those look scrummy. Tink herself sounds quite the cook. I love a soft cookie but mine are never soft enough. What's the secret.

    You'll excuse me here a sec, Siobhan while I wipe the WATER OFF MYSELF!!!! Sheesh, Brit!!! Climb up on that float and rest a bit, willya'?

    Herself is the cookie baker. (And delicate things maker). She'll tell you it's the Crisco (although some of the cookies do have only butter, or a mix of butter and Crisco) that makes them soft and keeps them soft. Butter makes for a thin and crispy cookie.

    Now Brit. Have at it again... just BE CAREFUL!!!!
