this is all to do with the guiding setup I put a thread on last week Mick - means I can effectively take 10 -20 minute exposures whereas with the setup I was using before I could only manage 2-3 minutes - that means I can use lower ISO's which means less noise and more signal - The Rosette nebula on the bottom was a nebula I could not have taken a picture of at all unless I had the guide setup.Originally Posted by ukwdwnut, post: 87731
