Oh gosh, Brit those photos are gorgeous! The bird is suitable for framing!

Cruella, they sure do count. I have an Aunt that uses nothing but those and gets great photos! She gets ones that are panoramic from time to time. Wonderful for landscapes. :)

we went camping and someone before us had put up a bird feeder, i wasn't interested in the birds but the squirrels and i did get some but they're on the desk top and it's switched off now. They aren't very good coz i was taking them through plastic but not that bad and if i'd opened the window they would have scarpered lol- don't think i have the patience to wait for wildlife!!!

so i will get the ball rolling i have

    Canon 400D
Sigma 70 - 300mm APO DG Macro Telephoto
    Sigma 17 - 35 Ultra Wide Angle
    Canon Kit Lens
    Canon 50mm Fixed Lens

what i could use is help with night shots especially for the fire works.. any help would be appreciated
I would think you have all your bases covered there Mick. I would love a setup like that. My DD has a keen interest in photography and is quite good at it. I gave her my Lumix DMC LZ2 camera that was issued at the NASA workshop in Alaska. Well, she came to me last night and said she knows what she wants for Christmas this year and Keith will love this, a Canon DSLR. Got to start saving a few pennies here and there. I would like a Nikon, as I have some lenses that might fit from my film camera. I am still using the Fuji S5000. It is a workhorse for sure. Not the greatest, but I get a lot of use out of it.

Mick take some lovely shots this fall Pal.
