And didnt I send you enough in your card?

And what the enemy will see? They will see the flash of our cannons, and they will hear the ringing of our swords, and they will know what we can do! By the sweat of our brow and the strength of our backs and the courage in our hearts! Gentlemen, hoist the colors!

I'm cold and miserable at +60 degrees!

Our daytime high temps finally have climbed into the 70s, but still in the 40s overnight.

Actually, that's good. It means it won't be 110 degrees for at least two months!

It was -16 this morning, but it did warm up to about -5 today. We're suppose to have the same temps and wind chills as Shelly has. This is one heck of a huge front that has moved in. I might actually have to zip up my coat and wear a hat when I go out

It is COLD!!! Even for us I had to go outside yesterday and let me tell you I was not happy. It doesn't help that my jacket doesn't zip up anymore

Last night you could hear the trees creaking when the wind came up. Makes you shiver just to think about it.

What do you mean your jacket doesn't zip! Stay in the house then, Missy!!! I understand why it doesn't zip, mind I just don't approve of your running outdoors without being properly dressed.

You ARE trying to make me come up there, aren't you?

The same thing happened to me when I was pregnant with Mike. He was born at the end of January so I went through the last part of the winter wearing one of my dad's old coats so I could at least zip it up. I looked like some kind of refugee from who knows where, but I was warm :D
