Surely you jest. With all the road closures around here and the fact that you can't take hardly anything with you I'm not going near the place.

I'd love to be there Sister Tinker! I know it is going to be utter chaos, but it's live history, eh?

I would be happy just to be standing along the route for the walk up Pennsylvania Avenue!

OK, guys, those of you who don't live in the DC area obviously are not up on all the goings on with this inaugural.

    1. They are expecting anywhere from 1.5 to 4 million people on the mall
    2. There will be only 1 toilet for every 5000 people.
    3. No food or drink will be allowed inside the inaugural area
    4. ALL of the bridges going from VA to DC are CLOSED
    5. Interstates 66 and 395 are CLOSED inside of the beltway (495)
    6. They are asking people NOT to drive on the beltway
    7. It will be MASS GRIDLOCK around here.
    8. You need to be there EARLY and stand around in the COLD
    9. You won't be able to get ANYWHERE near the swearing in without special tickets.
    10. The parade route can only accommodate about 300,000 people.

NO THANKS, I'll stay home and watch in the comfort of my living room.
