well i couldn't come en famille beginning of december but i'm sure that i could sneak out for a week solo
well we go every year at that time and it's usually warm but not hot during the day (pretty perfect for me) and then cool during the evening (ish). It's usually a really nice timeOriginally Posted by SleepinCatz, post: 4130
I'd love that too :thumbs_up:Originally Posted by SleepinCatz, post: 3935
I was just talking to a friend about some of us getting together and splitting the cost of one of the wilderness cabins. If there are 4 of us paying then it's a pretty good deal, especiallly with the kitchen.
first two weeksish of december. I love it then because it's warm in the day but not so hot/humid that you get tired walking around, then the evenings are perfect for watching fireworks etc. All the decorations are out and I can walk round listening to all the christmas musicOriginally Posted by ukwdwnut, post: 4138
We chose the first 2 weeks of Dec. because of the historical data we got on the weather during that time. The night sget nice and cool so it's easy to sleep and the days don't get too hot. My Dh and I both have mutant body temps....our normal body temp is between 102 and 103...so hot weather is out for us lol...To be honest tho... I do not remember Sept (mid to late) being that bad...except night temps don't get low enough. That would be the problem.
That's why I was asking Keith about it....to see if that data was good.
