Well we've had the most enjoyed book on here so what is the worst book you've ever read?

Mine has to be: My point and I do have one By Ellen DeGeneres

I thought it would be a witty book but I have to say I was so disappointed and felt it had been very badly fleshed out to just make a sale. Thank goodness I only paid about 90p from a charity shop for it because if I had paid full price I would have been extremely angry at such a waste of money.

It made an incredible film, but reading Schindler's List was a misery. :( Also, the same holds true for A Beautiful Mind. An amazing and very well done film, but horrible writing crippled the book.

I know. I am really overbearing when it comes to books that have been made into films. I never like the films! Those two though, the writing was so very poor, the only way to "enjoy" (if that is something one can say about Schindler's List) the stories are to watch the films.

Wuthering Heights. I just could not get into it and eventually threw it across the room in frustration.

I read a ridiculous book on the Cuban missile crisis once. I heavily criticised its premise in a paper I wrote and my professor told me I wasn't hard enough on it.

I did try, honest injun. It's a rare event that I give up on a book but this one was mean to me.

Awwwww... Sorry about that. Want me to have a chat with it and tell it to be nice, so you can give it another go?

No thank you. It's a period of literature that I tend not to go for anyway but I thought I should give it a go. I don't get on with the language and vernacular of that time.
